MADERAS BENAVIDES is a Bolivian company that has been operating since 2011, in the activity of transforming hard and semi-hard tropical wood of different species that exist in the country without environmental risk that would lead to deforestation. In 2014, it began exporting tropical hardwood products, generally to the European market.
The products are of high added value, through rigorous quality control, with highly qualified personnel and carried out manually in the last phases of product delivery.
OUR PRODUCTS

All our products, both for export and for the local market, are fumigated, heat treated, dried in specialized ovens and cut to the millimeter according to the wishes of our clients.

HOW WE WORK
Our production chain begins with the acquisition of wood from forestry concessions, companies institutionally registered by state and private control entities. These woods are initially collected and stored in the cities of Cobija, Concepción and Riberalta, after which they are transported to the city of El Alto where we have our production warehouse.
This 3000 square meter warehouse is where, with specialized machinery and equipment, we carry out the treatment, drying, cutting of the wood and quality control. It is also where we prepare them for safe transportation according to the client's standards and specifications.
Our team, made up of highly qualified personnel, also carries out dedicated manual work in the last phases of manufacturing our products, guaranteeing precision and warmth in each of our deliveries.
The production capacity we have is 3000 to 4000 pt/day.
We currently ship 6 40' containers for export, closed, dry and with a maximum load of 26,630 kg per month, through the port of Arica Chile.

CERTIFICATIONS
- We have Bureau Veritas Certifications in the chains of custody of the wood from the forest to the final destination of the sale.
- We have CITES certificates that regulate international trade in species of wild flora and fauna through concession and permit systems.
- We have quality control from sawing to curing the heat-treated and fumigated wood with the required standards.
- We have authorizations from the state entities that manage the legal and control part of the Forests, such as the ABT (Authority for Forest Supervision and Social Control).
- We work on the logistics of shipping and cargo transportation with expert companies of international quality such as E CARGO.
- We are affiliated with the Chamber of Exporters of Bolivia CAMEX.
